I’ve spent so many years feeling just a little bit bad, and most of the time, I find a way to make it my own fault.
Regular doctor screenings have shown that while I’m in the healthy range for everything, some things are on the higher end, such as triglycerides, and others on the lower, such as B12 and iron.
I’ve traced the triglycerides to the amount of fruit I eat (a lot) and have eliminated a daily banana. My B12 has been increased, and I’ve started pairing my iron with my vitamin C to maximize absorption.
I keep believing there must be something I can correct that will fix everything. That’s a lot of pressure to put on myself, but it keeps me in control.
The older I get, the less power I have over what time will do with me, and I will be 50 next month.
