I worked hard to keep everything looking good from the outside. I did well in school, went to college, and got a good job. I thought I’d done everything right, but, then I got sick.

At first, I kept doing all of the things that I was supposed to do, which made me worse. Eventually, I had to drop everything.

I figured out how to heal in a way that works for me, but it meant facing my childhood trauma.

I believe that sharing our stories is how we heal and connect with each other.
